        JAMES B. BORLAND, son of John Borland, was born in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, January 6, 1772, and died at North Evans, New York, March 3, 1841. He married (first), September 13, 1797, Elizabeth Gray. (See Gray VI); married (second), in 1819, Rachel Sexton, widow of Samuel Sexton. He removed on first marriage to Dorset, Vermont.

        Children, first two in Dorset; the rest in Manchester, Vermont, by first marriage:
